I was born and raised in Calgary. I completed my undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Calgary. Following that I worked as an engineer in the oil and gas industry for 2 years before making the switch to medicine. I completed my medical school training at the university of Calgary and my family medicine training at the university of Alberta. Throughout my training I took a keen interest in emergency medicine and had the opportunity to travel around northern Alberta before settling down in Airdrie. I spend half of my time working in the urgent care in Airdrie and I am always looking for ways to expand my skills and interests.
When I am not at work. I am usually spending time with my chocolate lab, Jackson, and much of my family in town. I am an avid golfer and a bit of a sports fanatic, go flames! I love practicing in the community of Airdrie as we have such a diverse population and people who are motivated to make delivery of health care better at a grass roots level.
